We took Ricks to the doctor the other day and he's gained 4 pounds! I couldn't believe it. Well actually I could cause he seems so huge to me. I guess he's healthy :) He's getting cream not milk... He almost looks as big as Bella in that picture. I'm sure it won't be long before he passes her up in weight

Bella woke up from her nap today and wanted her hat and noodles. So she put on her hat, sat on her couch, watched Little Mermaid and ate her noodles. I think she sat there for like an hour and didn't move. No joke. I've never seen her sit so still in all my life. She must like Little Mermaid :)

Bella loves holding Ricks she's always holding her hands out to me to see if I will give him to her and she has this look on her face that's like "please mom I want to hold him". It is so precious how sweet she is with him. Usually I will let her hold him unless he's screaming. The whole time she's got him she's constantly kissing him

We spent our Saturday afternoon at the beach... Let me just say, life is so much more complicated with two children. I managed to somewhat enjoy it. Right now Ricks is still in his newborn stage where he's practically attached to me if you know what I mean. I feel like I have no freedom. Bella and daddy had a great time though. Our friends Lala and Rusty came with us and Lala found a starfish while she was skimboarding. It was sweet! Lance buried Isabella and she all the sudden became The Little Mermaid. She loved it. Overall it was a fun afternoon. I guess I should be greatful it's nice and warm here and we can go to the beach any day of the week. Only four more months of paradise then we leave this place...

This is Lance and I's absolute favorite restaurant here. We took mom and Trish there while they were here. If any of you ever come to the North Shore you've got to go to this restraurant and get the prime rib... Notice Bella, she even loves the prime rib.

Tricia my sister when she was here visiting did Bella's hair in french braids. I couldn't believe she could get Bella to hold still so long and can you believe how good the braids turned out. She's amazing at hair. Love you Trish!!! Miss you! Bella does too :)

Ok I'll let you all be the judge. Does it look like my boy has red hair? Everybody is telling me his hair is red. Wierd!!! Then they also tell me it will probably turn blonde. Red to blonde? We'll see. He's getting so big! I can't believe he is almost a month old...

Bella has been Daddy's girl since the baby was born. I have been very impressed with her interaction with Ricks though. She isn't too interested in him actually. Occasionally she'll notice him in my arms or in his swing and get all excited and say "BABY!" and then she's back to doing her thing, playing with her toys or whatever. She is such a sweetie! I can't believe how much I can love her and Ricks both. I thought it was going to be impossible to share my love, but I love them both so much. Lance has been so helpful with both of them and I am so lucky to have him around so much. I think it's made the adjustment for all of us so much easier. It will be really hard when he starts back up with school but at least we've had this time together.
